Hi,
I'm putting together a trip to Budapest and Prague in August, and one of my return options involves a 1 hour 20 minute connection in Zurich. Is this feasible?

Yes, that's more than enough time if the arriving flight is on time. I've made dozens of connections at ZRH in 45 minutes or less.

I was wary of short connections at ZRH at first, but I've always made them. 1hr and 20 mins would be enough for a drink in the lounge and to grab some goodies from Sprungli.

Thank you very much! The choice is between 1 hour 20 at Zurich, or 1 hour 45 at CDG, the 7am departure for ZRH makes me want to take the 10am departure for CDG!

That is a tough decision.
Shopping at Sprungli trumps 4 hours of sleep IMHO, but missing the breakfast at any decent hotel in either Prague or Budapest will tip the scale the other way.

Happy Travels

Probably if your worried VIE is another good option with transit down to 30 mins, OS are also second to none, but you'll most definitely be able to transit in ZRH.
