I as crunching the numbers down for the first half of 2009, and here are my results:
I had 16 flights, 14 with US, 1 with 9K, and 1 with BB.
To be honest, I don't have a clue. I don't really keep track of that as well. I did so many flights this year, mostly HAM-FRA-HAM and because I am non- reving these tickets are rather cheap

Well as a student i spend as little as possible on flights but in this past year i have managed to get 2x return flights to Prague for about £60 each which i think is excellent value!
When travelling long haul i tend to choose an airline i am comfortable flying with so money is not so much a concern, i just want to make sure my flight is enjoyable. A return fair to Thailand in October 2009 on Emirates (EK) is going to cost me about £400 which i think is reasonable and means i get my first trip on the A380!!

Most of my flying is for business, and I don't keep track of the fares (although I need to check for the cheapest before booking, and usually take those). This year, also paid only a bit more than $100 in taxes/fees for a reward ticket AKL-CGN-AKL in C.
The only tickets I paid for myself this year were
AKL-WLG-AKL on QF: About $NZ200 incl.
PLZ-DUR-CPT-JNB-PLZ on SA: $NZ420 incl.

Having browsed through my monthal credit card statements, I got the following figures:
For flights taken in 2009, I have spent 4624 € sofar (part of it was spent in 2008). This got me 40 sectors for 23421 miles and 15 new airports to my log. Cost includes a paid-for Business class ticket from Germany to MEM v/v.
Add to above costs about 250 € for 3 sectors I did not show up for; plus some credit I still hold on WN..
20 more sectors are booked until end of September 2009, setting me back by 1354 € and adding another 4 airports to my log.

Zilch, zero, nada....................however, it has been awhile since I've flown international, so there's no fees from that, either.

Total spend is $3159.91. Miles flown is 61,771 miles on 53 flights (4 airlines - DL, NW, CO, AS). Over $3000 of that revenue went to Delta/Northwest (small amount went to Continental). I didn't pay for all of those tickets though.

How do some of you get such nice fares domestically? I guess I should start flying Q or U class instead of Y, even though half the time the full Y fare is a first class seat.

Quoting NQYGuy (Reply 11): Airport development fee @ £5.00
Which sucks, big time, but not quite as much as BLK's £10 ADF fee!
So far this year I've flown 42 segments at a total cost of £1,964.11, or an average of £46.76 per flight. Even taking off the £474 cost of the three Il-18 charter flights, the average is still £38.21, which is about £10 more than I'd like and aim for. It has though netted me 12 new airlines, 6 new aircraft types, 16 new airports and 26 new routes.
Value Per Mile of Scheduled Flights Only:
Best: GRO-LBC with FR; £3.70 or £0.004p per mile (including my bank conversion fee to €)
Worst: TSR-CLJ with Carpatair; £76.54 or £0.58p per mile.
This easily beat my previous best of HKG-LGW with Oasis Hong Kong for £78.87, or £0.01 per mile, but the 'worst' is still GCI-ACI with Aurigny for £34.75, or £1.34 per mile.
Last year I spent an estimated £10,000 on flying and travelling combined, but I've yet to troll back through all the figures and reservations to work it all out. If it's still raining, I'll probably do that tomorrow.

I've spent around 1700€ since november 2008, including a 150€ fee for a date modification and 60€ for a no-show. Not a lot compared to some of you guys but considering what I earn at work it's a lot of money...
The good thing is that most of the flights are still to be made. I've also added my best deal ever this afternoon, 8€ for CRL-ZAZ r/t with FR including priority boarding
