Now that a small few airlines have their liveries on the 380 it got me thinking as to what liveries would look good and what ones would look bad on the 380. Given the difference in shape and size to most of the aircraft we are used to seeing I think some liveries will work really well on it but others just wont suit it. So what ones do you think?? Doesn't have to be from airlines that have it on order, can be any at all.
Personally I think ones that would look good: Well I cant wait to see one in full Lufthansa livery, also think CO might look good. I think Adam Air's livery would have looked brilliant on one too. Think Monarchs colours and design could look great on it too. AC would be fab, love their tail.
Bad ones: Don't think EI or AA would look good at all. The fuselage is just too tall for theirs!! Korean probably wouldnt be too flash either.
So what do you think. Can be any airline at all, even ones that have no hope of ever ordering it!!!

Come with me, there's a place I want you to see, where the leaves are dark, I've got a hiding place in central park.

Quoting Phoenix9 (Reply 1): The not so good ones:
- Air Canada
I think the minty fresh AC green with the Vancouver 2010 special livery would look awesome on the A380!

I think it would be interesting to see the VN livery on an A380. A giant blue whale...or maybe it would be too overwhelming?
KL, BA, LH, CO, TG, CX, QF, AI, AF would look nice though

A A380 in any of the BN colors from the "end of the plain plane" campain would look fantastic! Also, a Calder colours would look beautiful!
The 747 will always be the TRUE queen of the skies!

Someone landed a KL A388 at Meig's Field in Chicago in FS just to show it could be done (with enough headwind, I'm sure). It looked great in KL livery.
And I think the A380 is a visual abomination. So if I thought it "looked great" it must.

Quoting Soon7x7 (Reply 9): Would look good in Boeings Dreamliners colors... bomb
If a 737 looks good in those colors, ANY plane looks good in those colors.

Not true...the a380 needs a 60 foot fuelage plug and a streamlined nose bowl...then were talking...the cheat lines will lay down nicely...but for now...when I see it, it reminds me of an airborne piggy bank...(no offense to A/BUS fans). I actually think the double aisle Airbus designs are sharp looking which dictates that the performance represents it's shape...very sweet. To level the field here, I will go to say the 767 is fairly ugly as well. Am really looking forward to a Lufthansa version of the A380...Thats one I will be chasing down JFK's runways!
