Hi to you all,

I tried the search engine without success, so sorry if posted already before.

I will be short time in Indonesia and so I would like to fly domestic. Only problem: it seems impossible to buy e-tix on the web, because of

Payment must be made using Visa or Mastercard credit cards issued by Indonesian banks

So, is it possible to walk up to the airport and to buy a ticket straight on for the next flight? Is there any travel agency or airline which accept European credit cards? Any recommendations?

THX chris

Try Air Asia (www.airasia.com). One of my friends bought Air Asia domestic tickets using foreign credit card.

Air Asia is the easiest for you since they accept german Mastercards as well as VISA-cards.

As others mentioned, I'd recommend Air Asia if you want to buy tickets in advance. Lion Air should also allow this, but I've had trouble with their website in the past.

For more unusual routes the easiest way is to just pop into any local travel agent when you're there and they will book it for you with only a small mark up. I used this method for my last trips to/from Denpasar, Lombok (AMI) and Labuan Bajo. Lots of fairly beat up ATRs  Smile

Hi to you all! ThanX for all your advices.

I booked a nice B733 Awair aka Indonesia AirAsia flight from DPS- at least something "interesting".

Know, I am looking for some real "exotic" flights; I will book the flights straight at the airport- but maybe someone does have more informations:

1.Batavia Air/ Kartika Airlines/ Sriwijaya Air (any B732 flights out of DPS?)
2.Lion Air (any MD90 flights out of DPS?)

cheers chris

I would just buy the tickets at the airport. Or use local TAs (after checking the airline website for fare information so you won't get ripped off). You may even get a cash 'upgrade' at the airport.

Certain airlines such as Air Asia Indonesia take foreign credit cards. However, if you want to fly some of the more exotic airlines cash is king.
