United 747 ORD-SFO Within The Next Week?

I am in Chicago with an unrestricted round trip ticket. I am scheduled to come back to San Francisco next Wednesday August 5th on a 757  bored  .
I can come back home sooner or a few days later IF there are any 747-400 equipment subs.
I know United does this a lot and I have usually flown SFO-ORD / ORD-SFO when they use the 747.

It sometimes is only within a few hours that you know. but sometimes it might be a day in advance but usually not sooner than then so you would need to just check every day and be lucky, but it does happen sometimes.

Best current 'scheduled' choice is the 3-class 763 in the evening if you are looking for an upgrade.
