Hello everyone,
Let's get right dow to business. My family wants to go to LHR in Mach from the 11th (departing) to the 19 (arriving home). We are aiming for $3000 CAD r/t taxes in. LGW is an option. Can anyone find anything out there as I am currently being threatened with TS and I would rather get on a better long-haul product if I could.
Details: Depart YYZ on March 11th, Arrive at YYZ on the 19th.
Passengers: 4
Thanks for your help.

Have you tried checking a consilodator fare on Air Canada. They have some pretty good fares and almost new airplanes.

One option is Air India YYZ-LHR for $3152. Their 777s look comfortable enough with 34" pitch and 3.3.3 seating, but I don't know how their service compares to Air Transat's.
Also, it looks like those TS flights are operated by Thomas Cook, so at least you have 33" pitch and seat-back IFE. Again, though, I have no idea what their service is like, but you can't expect much for $800/person.
Personally, I would go with Air India, just to give it a try. However, I would recommend calling a travel agent and getting a quote from them, as they usually have their own discounts (not always though). Breakaway Travel in Oshawa is pretty good for that.
