A very long time before her withrawal, I had the pleasure of flying one of Eastern's L1011s, and a couple of their 727s. Pan Am supplied me with my first ever A300 as well. Dan Air gave me 727s and 737s. Air UK Leisure 737. Continental 747.

My wife flew on a Delta B727-200 from DFW to SEA sometime in early 2001. Picking her up at the gate and seeing a 727 flooded my head with a bunch of childhood memories of flying them on UA, Alaska, Republic, et al. Suddenly, as an adult, I had a renewed interest in airliners! Unfortunately, most of the 727s were retired by the end of 2001...
