The big excitement, as the world media is reporting, is that I landed at FLL on Saturday and got to add it to my "Landed There" list. I have noticed while putzing with my Calc spreadsheet that it is the only "F" IATA code on the list; and that there are also gaps at H, K, N, Q, U, V, W, and X.
The other letters are all represented at least once, as you can see (this list serves only to iterate through the alphabet once per letter and is not my complete Landed There list)

T - TLV
U -
V - VIE
W - WLG
X - like Q, mostly assigned to rail/bus stations, although there are some airports with X codes including several in China. One I've been to but haven't landed at (no scheduled flights!) is XFW, Finkenwerder, the Airbus factory in Hamburg.

The RAAF bases have ICAO codes (YPEA for Pearce; YGIG for Gingin). Air force bases won't have an IATA code if they don't also accommodate commercial flights.
Did you land there in RAAF (or other milimatary) equipment?
