Most of them do, you just tell them that you are airline crew. The only one I know of is ATL at the Ramada.

ORD is good, the Four Points is 45 a night
DEN has the Quality Inn for cheap
PHX the Sleep Inn is pretty cheap.

I would always mention it and show my badge and get a 10-15% discount.

I think the Hyatt at PIT does. I could be wrong though. And some of the hotels around the airport might as well. There's over a dozen to chose from within a 6 mile radius.

It's pretty safe to say that all major brands do. I got 40% discounts at some places with the crew rate.

Conversely, do airlines provide discounts to hotel personnel?

Assuming that you are an airline employee, doesn't your company have a pass bureau?
They should have all that information available, or you could call the 800 # for a hotel chain
and inquire that way.

First, benzene in my Perrier, and now this!

Pretty much anywhere you go will give you an airline employee discount!

Most hotels will give larger discounts to crew than regular badged airline employees. In addition to my regular badge I have a "crew" badge for just that reason. Depending on your airline another thing that you might try is calling SOCC and asking them if they have any rooms in the city you will be at. A lot of times they can just put you up in a room for free.
Speaking of airline employee discounts, I hope everyone that has AT&T Wireless discounts checks that site regularly. The deals on new phones are amazing!!!

No

I was told the reason we get discounts from the Hotels the airlines do, is because we, the airline pay big money for contracts to the hotels for laying our crews over there and whatnot.

So that would be the fair trade off so to speak...but not exactly fair to the individual employees of the hotel chains themselves.

Though the Hotel employees get drastic discounts for stay at hotels across there respective brand families and im sure get some discounted air travel albeit not at the low rate airline employees get.

From my experience in 99% of cases you had to pre-book the hotel and carry some sort of confirmation letter. You couldn't just turn up at the desk on the day.

The only place they let me do that was a posh hotel in Ireland.

and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.
