The AA flight 120 from JFK to CDG tonight Oct 2nd, 2009 (ended up being delayed to around a 2230 hour departure) is a 752ER. First question is what was the cause of the delay and second question is I thought that route was always with the 763? Were the load factors low enough to move that flight to a 757? Finally, what is the flying time on that route and how many relief flight crew members would be with them?

Have no idea because I don't have any access to any of the systems, but just a guess......

Maybe the 763 had problems, causeing the delay, and it was better to get a 752 to do the trip and rebook some passengers (or they all fit) than wait for another 763.

Q1: Equipment cooling exhaust valve was replaced.
Q2: At least as far back as Aug.29th, AA120 JFK-CDG has been flown by a B752.
Q3: Tonight's flight - "...our flying time will be 06 HRS 40 MIN at an altitude of 35,000 feet."
Q4: 3 pilots; CA, FO, FB

That certainly could be the case, since JFK-CDG is a SkyTeam hub on both ends. There probably aren't a whole lot of connections on AA, at least compared to what DL and AF probably get.

Why do Aerospace Engineering students have to turn things in on time?

- "CA" = Captain, "FO" = First Officer, "FB" = ? (excuse my ignorance)
