Entering all my flights in Flight Memory, it says the longest flight I've been on is LHR-SIN (longer than LHR - HKG, PVG, SFO, JNB etc). Are there any longer routes out of LHR?

Would Jakata or Manila be longer, or perhaps Santiago except they don't seem to have direct flights to London?

it's the bus to stansted (now renamed national express a4 to ruin my username)

If it counts, NZ1 to AKL via LAX is on the opposite side of the globe  Smile
LHR-EZE is longer at 6904 miles, but I'm not sure it's operated dirctly (it may be by BA a couple of times a week?)

BA 247 makes a stop at GRU.

Quoting AirbusA6 (Thread starter):
Would Jakata or Manila be longer,

LHR-SIN 6765 mi
LHR-MNL 6699 mi
LHR-CGK 7284 mi
but of these MNL and CGK do not appear to be served nonstop.

This apparently leaves SIN as the destination located furthest away from LHR that is served nonstop.

BA operated nonstop LHR-EZE for a while in the 1990s. That's 139 mi. (120 nm) longer than LHR-SIN. I don't think there has ever been a longer nonstop from LHR than EZE.

NZ has two direct , but not nonstop , flights ex LHR . NZ1 routes LHR-LAX-AKL (10393 nm according to great circle mapper ) and NZ 38 LHR-HKG-AKL (10152 nm according to great circle mapper ).

I am sure once Boeing or Airbus come out with an aircraft that can fly non-stop from LHR to SYD or MEL, that will be the longest flight.
