Unfortunately, I've never been on F before. However, I think the best first class has got to be the Singapore Airlines Suites, like you said, or even the new F product on SQ 77Ws.

Yup, I think it'll be very comfortable. The bed is seperate from the seat, am I correct? And the double bed is actually two beds joined together, right?

I've heard that the Suites aren't that private though  Wink

I agree that SQ Suites are nice. However it is a big cabin, and it sometimes feels crowded. I tend to prefer smaller first class cabins, with fewer seats (such as SQ's 777-300 ER).

Otherwise, I must say LX has an excellent F product, especially on their new A330-300; although not so new any more, their previous F cabin (A330-200 and A340-300) also remains one of my favorites: lots of space, airy feel, outstanding service. May well be the best around.

LH F cabin is described as dated (old style seats, yet of the flat-bed generation) by many users. I still think their service is good, and the ground product (lounges and transfers) is excellent.

Used to travel on BA F a lot. Nice, but not as much space as on other carriers. Privacy is good though, especially on their 747-400.

The best best F that ive personnally been on is LX. I especially like that you could eat with someone at your little table. THey are also quite private.

SQ looks to be the nicest thought.

The best F/C to me is the new CX product on their 744 and 77W.

The new F/C on EY looks very nice on their A346 as well as the SQ on both A380 and 77W.

I think that the Singapore Airlines Suites have to definitely take the prize of best first class. Other than the SIA suites, I might say the Emirates first class is one of the best.

I've enjoyed all my F/C flights on EK, especially on the 380 and the 340's. really like the privacy of the suites. The crews can be in different, but then again that is the same for all carriers these days. The showers on the 380's are a dream that has become real at long last.

For having experienced both, there existed far better than the Singapore Airlines 380 R (Suites) Class. The First Class beyond First Class was Concorde Class.

Now that it's gone and that we are all back to subsonic flying, the best I have known in the air is the SQ 380 Suites (re-named R Class like Concorde Class).

On the ground though... the best First Class lounge that exists worldwide is the Frankfurt airport Lufthansa First Class Terminal. This is one you cannot beat. The Concorde Lounges were nice but the First Class Terminal lounge at FRA beats it hands down and then you get your own limo and chauffeur to the foot of fhe aircraft before any other passengers get on board.

Up in the air, LH still has to make some improvements in their F Class service to reach the level of Singapore Airlines.... yet LH and LX will never have the unparalleled Singapore Girls, the best service to exist up in the skies.

I'll second that. By God are they comfy... and HUGE!

JG  Yeah sure

First Class passengers are my favourites. They can't get any further forward without an ATPL.

I've not flown F for a while now (sob), the last time was QF about 7 years ago when I got an upgrade. Very average I would have to say.

The best I have flown was CX, again a long time ago. Beyond superb. SQ C was pretty good as well.
