Hi all

I will be arriving on VS 20 Upper class on the 5th of Jan at 11am into LHR at T3, and my connection is on 9W 117 to BOM in Economy Class which departs at 2120 almost 9 hours later from T4,

Will i be allowed to use the VS arrivals lounge or is that after Immigration, i wont be clearing UK immigration,

If i am not allowed to use the lounge what can be done at T4 for the duration,

are there any paid lounges if so which are the good ones and what would be the approximate charges i cannot find the list on baa website

Also can one leave their check in luggage at some storage as i dont want to be lugging it around all around. My bags wont be checked in throughout as i am on two separate PNRs

Any suggestions

Thanks in advance

Karan

You will be allowed but it is after immigration.

9 hours is too long, basically there is nothing to do.

In this case you have to go through immigration and customs, therefore you can use the VS arrival lounge, I know for a fact that a luggage storage is available at T4 in the arrival terminal, there might be one at T3.

I remember there is one when BA used to be at T4.

How are you going to work it out?
If you don't have a visa to the UK, you have to check your bags all the way.

The Lounge is after Immigration/Customs.

You really need to look into this. You HAVE to clear Immigration to collect your bags. How are you intending on your bags getting from one flight to the other if VS won't through check them ?. If you don't clear Immigration, your bags will just sit at LHR and won't be transferred to the next flight. If you are lucky the airline may re-tag them but that would be way down on their list of priorities, and they do not have to do it for you.

What about your bags - see above !!.

I think you need to call VS and explain your problem to them to see if they will allow your bags to be checked through, even on a seperate PNR.

There is the Holideck Lounge in T4 that you can pay to use :-
