Hi guys,
I'm considering flying in Y class on one of these airlines: KL, LX or LH. I would appreciate your opinions about which one is the most comfortable, in terms of legroom and overall seat comfort.

Thank you for your opinion, Musapapaya. The flights that I'm talking about are for a SAN - JED - SAN itinerary. I also agree that LX seems to be the best choice. Whichever airline I pick, I'll make a trip report about it.

I never flew LX long-haul but I can speak for KL and LH. I think you will be flying out of LAX. KL uses 744s with no PTV and the seat is neither great nor really bad... If you are taking LH, it will either be a 744 or a 346. 744 seats are not too bad but they also lack PTV. The 346 have PTVs and enough movies to keep you occupied but honestly, the seats are the least comfortable I ever encountered on a long haul.. Just too hard...

I've narrowed down my choices to these three airlines:
1- EY: ORD-AUH-JED-AUH-ORD
2- LX: ORD-ZRH-JED-ZRH-ORD
3- AF: JFK-CDG-JED-CDG-JFK
Let me know what you guys think offers the best Y class product between these three airlines.
If I picked AF, I would go on their new A380 between CDG and JFK, as it will be a unique experience for me to fly on that aircraft for the first time. While people have yet to try the Y class product on AF's A380's, I suppose that one could expect a product that is similar to what is currently offered on AF's other wide-body aircraft. Also, as far as I know, the flights between CDG and JED would be operated on AF's "Dedicate" A319LR service, which seems to offer a Y class product that is significantly better than AF's regular Y class product.
