I guess that was supposed to be MMX.

I know my grandparent flew that route back in the days on a DC-3. Someone arranged trips where you took the ferry one way, and flew back.
That was actually there only flight ever, until quite recently. And they where quite proud of it, since many of there friends of similar age have never stepped foot on an airplane.

Nope, MMX is Sturup and that's quite a bit further away. MMA is, or rather was, Malmoe Heliport. The heliport did move, at least once, from the inner to the outer of Malmoe Harbour.

The operator was Helikopter Service, and I flew on all of their whirly things over the years; B206, B206L3, A109, S-76 and the AS-something - Dauphin. They did CPH-MMA and CPH-Helsingborg as their bread-and-butter routes, and made quite a killing doing so. Taking the helicopter over to CPH was almost the same price as the ferry and parking at CPH + you could check in all the way from the heliport and, of course, save a lot of time. It was something like 5 minutes from MMA and 15 from Helsingborg. It worked a treat, until they put up the bridge of course, that kind of killed it.

There was another carrier, whos name eludes me now, who used to operate Twotters between MMX and CPH, but I never rode on that service.

I think my shortest international flight was YYZ-BUF (59 nm) on a US Air DC-9 about 20 years ago. Eastern even used L1011s on that sector for a while. BUF was an intermediate stop on a YYZ-BUF-ATL route, in the days before deregulation when Eastern (or anyone else) lacked the traffic rights to operate nonstop YYZ-ATL.
