Air NZ/bmi Codeshare Question

Question is related to baggage. I want to fly EDI - LHR - LAX next August and NZ offer 2 bags in the hold. BD offer 1.

As NZ has a codeshare with bmi and the ticketed fly would be a NZ flight number would I be allowed 2 bags?
