United's 777's To Dubai...Good? Bad?

I am traveling to DXB via IAD on the 26th of December. I have read many poor reviews of United's international services and amenities over the past few weeks and I am wondering if anyone has taken this flight recently and would care to share some insight (i.e IFE, food, service, seat preferences etc...)
