Best Airline For Weekly Commute- LAX/SJD

Starting next week, I will be commuting back and forth between L.A and San Jose del Cabo on a weekly basis for approximately 7-8 weeks. ( The type of construction projects i will be in charge of are known for going over time and budget so.....7-8 weeks might be a pipe dream)

I will need to have a direct flight, leaving each Monday morning, so that I can arrive by 9am local time, and I will most likely be able to leave SJD each Friday by 5pm. What is my best option in regards to flexibility, on time %, etc....Preferably I would like to make all my reservations at once, with a flexible ticket so when my schedule changes at the last moment ( which it WILL), I will have options. Price is not an issue, as the client is picking up the tab.....and frankly is not in the position to complain at this point. ( Long story)

From looking at SJD's website, looks like my only direct options are AL, AA, MX, AM,JR,,??

Any and all comments/suggestions are most certainly appreciated.

Well your nonstop options are AA, AS and UA for the US carriers, and MX on the Mexican side.

However your Monday AM out, Friday PM back schedule does not quite match what airlines are offering. Earliest LAX-SJD flight does not get you into SJD till after 12noon.

Ultimately, I'd choose the airline based on the carrier where you want to collect miles on. Being a LA local, I'd say UA or AA will provide the most frequent flyer benefits.

Thanks.

Well I am Platinum on AA, but that late flight morning arrival flight Monday into Cabo just wont do. It kills me that I might have to fly in every Sunday before. But I might make up for it, by flying out early afternoon on Friday ( or that WOULD be the plan)... Perhaps a connection thru TIJ ?...I doubt it.

I guess the traffic flow is more catered to the vacation traveler then the business traveler.

This project better be worth it,.Only 1 full day at home for 2-3 months just ain't gonna cut it.
