I flew CDG-DUB-CDG with Aer Lingus.
The CDG-DUB flight was operated by EI-EDS, delivered in 2009, which has the new interior, while the DUB-CDG flight was operated by EI-DEH, delivered in 2004, and which thus has the old interior.
I must say that I am far from being a fan of the new interior: it is too grey, looks too plastic, while the old interior, although "yellowish", looks more cozy.
BTW, I found the Recaro seats terrible...

I'm not so sure that the Recaro seats can be regarded as the new seats. EI-EDS was originally destined for IB and thus features different seats to the rest of the EI fleet. EI never bothered re-fitting it. EI-DEH is fitted with the standard EI seats. I'm pretty sure that any new 320's that are delivered to EI in the future will feature the seats that EI-DEH is fitted with. I've never been lucky (or unlucky) enough to catch EI-EDS yet but I don't like the appearance of it from the pics I've seen.

DEH looks roomier indeed, the seats look better, with headrest. Nevertheless, I was happy to get EDS to try the new A320 interior, and BTW it is more quiet
So, mon ami francais, you don't like the new interior of the new A320 and you don't like the fuel smell in cabin on every A320, nobody else is smelling?
Actually, I just love the new interior in e.g. LHs brand spanking new A321. Just gorgeous. But then again, I also cannot smell the fuel...

Quoting LY777 (Reply 3): BTW, which airlines have this new interior on their A320?
I think it's on all (or most) A320 family aircraft built in the past couple of years. I've seen it on several recent AF flights and it's also on many BA aircraft.

I like the new interior. Got on a brandnew LH A321 and liked the overhead panels etc.
btw, EI's Recaro seats are not part of the new interior. That's just the airlines' own choice

Well, I think I like the new interior better.
But It would be helpful if anybody could point to pictures of the old/new interiors. I've been looking for the two EI planes, but didn't find any cabin pics on a.net.
I'm going to MAD next weekend on LH, I really hope for something like this:

i flew on a monarch a321 with the new interior in October last year, and i found the new interior a vast improvement on the old one. too me it feels more clean, with the lines all blending.
Cross my heart and hope to fly, f**k right off into the middle of the sky... that would be my ecstasy

Just boarded on a new A321. I was surpised that the cabin looked very shiny, bright and new. It smelt like "new car stuff". I was happy to fly on a new A321!

I was on BA's G-EUUX the other day. I think that was only delivered a month or two ago.
The interior was the same as any other BA A320 but the overhead panels are more streamlined and the airmap had a new page where it shows you what the pilots can see.
I'd like aircraft designers to think about the entrance to aircraft. There must be a way to make them more inviting.
and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.

Hello(!),
Haven't tried the new interior but I think Swiss Airlines has the recaro seats which I tried (they're quite thin). I wasn't a massive fan but it wasn't a big deal as it's only for an hour or so. But call me nuts but the Ryanair seats in their Boeing 737-800's are actually quite nice (especially when you get 2 or 3 in the row to yourself).

I like the recaro seats on LX, by being thinner, you get much more legroom, which to me is much more important!
