A friend just booked a DL flight (ZRH-ATL) through ebookers.ch (something like Expedia). He now got a pre-assigned seat. He's traveling with a friend who booked separately on the same site and also got a pre-assigned seat. Of course they're not seating close to each other.

What's the best course of action to try having 2 seats together? Call Delta, call ebookers.ch, or just show up at check-in and try have the agent do it there?

Use this link: https://de.delta.com/delta/ende/?24;https://www.delta.com/myitinerary/itinLanding.action

Fill in the form with the necessary data, then the system will display an overview of the booked flights with the option to change seats, order special meals, etc.

Yes, they both need to log into their delta.com itineraries (not the ebookers ones).

The first friend needs to select a seat with an empty one next to it, and the second will then simply have to log in and put themself in the seat next to it... should work fine!
