I was poking around FR's website and I noticed on their (rather lengthy) fee schedule, they were quoting the fees as if the GBP and the EUR were on par with each other (i.e. 1:1 exchange rate). Now, last time I checked (also today) the exchange rate was about 1 GBP = 1.11 EUR. I checked U2's site, and they seemed to be doing the exchange rate properly, and I did not check the legacy carriers (BA, LH, AF, etc). Is this a common practice in Europe? Now, if I were a UK resident, I would be rather annoyed with FR.
