Hi, iam flying on BA43 on 3rd February and flying back on BA42 on 18th February. I looked LHR Live arrivals and saw that todays flight was operated by a 777-200ER.

Finals EGLL 09R 25/01 07:35:29 4007F0 BAW42 B772 G-YMME British Airways 100 89 Approach

Sometimes its a 747-400, so i wonder if anyone knows which aircraft it will be? Iam hoping its a 777 because i havent flown on one yet, any ideas folks?  Smile

As per BA website it will be 777 both ways.

BA operates 2 flights a day between LHR and CPT. 1 is operated with 744 (BA58/59), the other on 777 (BA42/43). So if you want to fly 777, you got the right flights.

Thanks, I looked at seatguru and they show 2 types of 777 layour for BA, 4 class layout and 3 class layout, which one would it be?

3 class here.

4 class here.

I will be travelling in Y class with my Parents and choosing a window seat on the right hand side. Hope its ok asking for this request as it will be useful, thanks.

As per the booking tool og BA, first to CPT is only offered on their 744-operated flights.
So the 777's used will be without the first class. Unless they use them without selling first (unlikely though, so count on the first one).

No prob, you're welcome.

But don't forget, last minute equipment changes are always possible, so don't blaim me if it turns out to be something else...  Wink

Enjoy your flights, and let us know how it was.
