Yes, sadly.
B737-291 N980UA went on to fly for Conviasa, except that on some kind of post-modification test flight, the aircraft experienced CFIT and was a total loss.
Also, I've flown AMS-MSP on N820NW, the A330-300 involved in the recent Christmas Day terrorism event. NW lost my luggage on that one. Fortunately, no loss of life or serious aircraft damage resulted from the tighty-whitey bomber.
For some reason, I want to say there's another one in my repertoire...

Three cases I'm aware of
I flew on Ansett 727-200 VH-ANA 26 December 1994 AN58 DRW-ADL. 2 years and 5 months previously it was involved in a engine fire operating a BNE-SYD flight.
I flew on Qantas A330-300 VH-QPA 31 July 2004 QF542 SYD-BNE. 4 years and 3 months later it was involved in a ADIRU failure severely injuring 14 occupants operating QF72 SIN-PER.
I flew on Air National Jetstream J32 ZK-ECN 15 October 2009 NZ2282 CHC-HKK. 20 months previously it was involved in a Hijacking attempt operating NZ2279 BHE-CHC.

I've never bothered checking as it's a bit too time consuming to cross reference so many registrations, but I flew on a Syrian Yak-40 which had a landing incident and caused me to break some ribs. IIRC it was sent to Minsk for overhaul shortly afterwards, but I'm not sure if it did any more commercial flying inbetween, wouldn't surprise me if it did, that thing was in a bad shape anyway - I've never seen a glass fatigue crack run all the way around a window.
Same here. Only aircraft I know of that I've flown aboard that was later written off though I don't keep much of a record of aircraft registrations.
I posted a video on YouTube of the takeoff with the registration in the tags, soon after it landed short @ LHR views and comments went through the roof.

I flew on N93119 ATH-JFK on the day she went down as TWA800 flying JFK-CDG later that night.
I'm almost certain I flew HB-IWF at some point before she crashed as SR111 with how many times I flew JFK-GVA and JFK-ZRH on the SR MD-11s. I had flown GVA-JFK on the same afternoon as SR111 crashed, just a few hours before, but it wasn't HB-IWF doing that flight.

Yes , but many years apart , flew ZK-NAS more times than I can remember on AKL-WLG return during the early - mid 1980s while she was operating for NZ . Many years later , and a long long way from home it crashed at FRU while operating for Itek Air .

I flew on a 1966-build Fokker F.27-200 in July 2007. It was Air Panama's HP-1541PST. Three months later, the aircraft lost power on take-off and crashed just past the runway at PAC (iirc). It was a write-off

Cubana Flight 201 took off from Santo Domingo (SDQ) on a regular service to Havana (HAV). At 45 nm from SDQ and at an altitude of 25000 feet the nr.2 engine suffered an uncontained failure. Fuel lines to engine nr.1 were compromised and a fire erupted. Also, debris had penetrated the fuselage, causing a decompression. Both engines were shut down and the captain decided to return to Santo Domingo.
An emergency descent was carried out, followed by a safe emergency landing.
I find this scary since two other IL-62 aircraft had fatal crashes for the same exact reason.

On 24. October, 1997, I flew on AA 1144 from SFO to DFW. It was operated by N215AA. I still remember sitting on the ground as the bags were being loaded, since there were a lot of 49'ers fans on the flight. I was headed to AUS for my aunt's funeral. Two years later on June 1, 1999, it landed at LIT in a very heavy storm, ran off the end of the runway, and crashed into a steel tower. It was operating from DFW as flight 1420, and killed 11 of the 145 passengers.

I flew this AF 340 about 8 months before it crashed... I flew the aircraft between CDG and SXM... I was shocked when I saw the registration of the aircraft... Thank God no one was killed in the accident... I must admit that it was very scary to knowing that I was in the very plane only a few months back...
She took me from ZRH to LAX the year before, on my way to Hawaii. I was only 10 years old at the time and still I remember visiting the cockpit and the amazingly big windows up front.
and
OE-LFO, the Fokker 70 that didn't quite make it to MUC. Fortunately, without fatalities. My routing on that plane was VIE-VIE. OS used to operate scenic flights of the Austrian Alps.

Quoting SA7700 (Reply 3): I have flown on VH-OJH after the BKK incident.
After the incident? How does that feel? It must be weird stepping onto an aircraft knowing its had a fairly serious accident?
