How much time one has to count to transfer from an arrival in EZE on Aerolineas to a departre from AEP also on Aerolineas?

What is the best way to get from EZE to AEP?

Thanks

The best way to get from EZE to AEP (in my opinion) is to take the Manuel Tienda Leon coach bus service between the two airports. They have a stand to purchase tickets as soon as you exit customs and a one way ticket will cost you something like $15USD. Departures are frequent - around once every half hour and the ride is comfortable with air conditioning. As for the time frame, I would say that the ride itself, from the time of departure, is a little over an hour. But then, of course, you have to factor in your time to clear customs, buy the ticket, wait for the bus to depart, face potential traffic, check in at AEP, etc. I would thus say to give your self at least 4 hours of connecting time between your flights.

Our flight would arrive at 04.20hrs morning, so I suppose traffic is still reasonable at this time?
Or is a taxi much faster than the bus?

Yeah, taxi will be faster, but significantly more expensive, as EZE is lcoated a good distance from the Buenos Aires. I don't think it's worth it IMO. If you get in at 4:20AM, and your flight out of AEP departs not earlier than 7:30AM, you should be fine. But perhaps someone else can weigh in on this.

P.S. Take a look at the website for the bus company (Google it) and I believe that they ahve schedules published there.

Checked website, but in these early hours, the first bus we could get is at 0500hrs (for arrival at 0420hrs is very sharp). Next bus is too late, as we have exactly 3hrs connecting time (proposed by Aerolineas).

Someone has an idea about taxi prices and trip time?

Just got off the phone with my Brother who lives about halfway between the 2 airports. The taxi will usually take you about 1 hour and 15 min with traffic and about 40 min without. Assuming you are getting a cab from the "Capital Federal" from downtown it should run you about $80 Argentine Pesos or so. Hope this helps!

Here's what I would suggest: I think that with a 0420 arrival, the bus at 0500 would be perfect. Once you clear customs, see what time it is and if you have time to buy the ticket and make the 0500 bus, then do it (also, when buying the ticket, ask the agent there what time the bus is expected to arrive at AEP). If you can't catch the 0500 bus, then take the taxi. You don't need to buy the bus tickets in advance anyway so you have nothing to lose here. If you wind up taking the bus, it's not going to be THAT much slower than a cab. The bus will take you straight and nonstop from EZE to its terminal in Buenos Aires. Then, most people will disembark there while you stay on the bus and go to AEP (although maybe you might have to change buses but it will be quick). The wait time at the terminal is only a few minutes. From there, AEP is very, very close. I hope this helps.

I flew in to EZE 3 weeks ago, stayed in downtown, and then flew from AEP a couple of days later.

The taxi from EZE to downtown took 35 minutes, and from downtown to AEP another 25 minutes. I think if you left yourself an hour to travel by taxi, that would be sufficient.

Price would be in the region of 150-180 pesos (if I remember correctly).
