On the way back from my trip to Europe I have the option to fly on TAP from LHR to EWR with a stopover in Lisbon. The LHR to LIS flight is an A320 and the LIS to EWR flight is an A330. I have never flowen TAP before. How do they compare with the other European Airlines? Do they have PTV's or AVOD? Lastly, how is the service?

Last year I flew TP from Porto to London Gatwick - here is the trip report: Round Europe In 4 1/2 Days (by Signol Dec 6 2009 in Trip Reports)
I've never flown with them long haul, sorry, but the short haul service was good. Professional staff who got the job done (almost like BA in their professionalism, no joking around with each other or the passengers). A hot sandwich was served on board, along with drinks. Legroom was ample for a short flight, more than LCCs offer. IFE consisted of the magazine and the window
A work colleague flew them to GIG a few years ago, but wasn't impressed - I suspect mainly as their luggage didn't make a tight connection in LIS.
