I'm going to be heading to Ireland and the UK in late August/September (flying into DUB and back from LHR), and the cheapest fares I'm finding to get over there (from SEA) are on Air Canada. There are 2 or 3 choices in each direction that work out to the same overall fare, so if anyone has advice as to which I should pick, I'm happy to hear it!

I would suggest Choice 2 outbound and choice 2 or 3 return, based on your preferences. Personally speaking I would never include LHR in my itinerary if I could avoid it.

Personally, I'd pick 1 and 2. I'd avoid Heathrow at all costs because frankly - It's a hell hole of doom and you'll not want to transfer through there. I've flown from there and that was bad enough, I wasn't even connecting.

Did you check the fares on SEA-AMS-DUB? If not that low, try splitting the tickets. SEA-AMS-SEA and EI lowcost AMS-DUB-AMS. AMS is the best airport for connections and spotting.

I would go for #2 outbound and #3 on the return. The two times I transfered through LHR it wasn't nearly as bad as it is usually made out to be, and your connection is definitely long enough. It's a great opportunity to try the 773 (and get the A330 on the return) but if you get stressed going through airports it obviously isn't the best idea. I personally like the long bus rides (when they're aboveground) and exploring the terminals, but I know I'm weird.
As far as the return, in your position I'd take the connection through Calgary. #3 has the advantage of not flying a CRJ, and you get to fly into YVR (it sounds like you're the type who enjoys flying), a flight over the Rockies to a very nice airport. I'm not even sure if you can skip Canadian customs in YYC by connecting directly to the U.S. Can anyone who's made that connection before confirm this?

I dont know what you guys have had for experience at LHR, but I have flown throught it several times without any problems.
Back to the OPs question. I would go for option 2 on the outbound journey and option 3 back home simply because you will be able to add the 77W and A330 to your log and because it will give you a total of 6flights rather than 4.
