Funny smell on MD-88 now on my clothes, but I can't change them or take a shower b/c I have NO LUGGAGE! My first, and last, Delta experience.

17. What is your favourite airport? PHF because (1) it's home, and (2) it's incredibly easy to get through. Car to Plane in under 30 minutes.
18. Who do you most admire in commercial aviation? no one specific. But I admire US Airways employees for treating their customers well (I flew them in May) and acting like they give a damn, while at the same time their airline goes down the toilet.

31. What the most embarrassing thing you have ever done in commercial aviation? It was the day after the AA DC10 crash in CHI in 1979. We were on an SK DC10 CPH-SIN which had been delayed by 10hrs. It departed at around 2200hrs and there were just 13 pax on board. I was 9 at the time and thinking the whole airplane to be mine, I let rip with a loud fart. I had the mortification of seeing one of the stewardesses look at me and scram desperately trying to hide her grin. Yeeeeaaauuuugghhhhhhh.. I still want to die when I think of it.

4. By flight number, what is your best flight experience? DL749 ATL-LAS, joined mile high club with my lovely wife!
5. Your worse experience? Can't remember flight number, but was US ATL-PHI. Diverted us connect in PIT, then after long mech. delay forced us to ride a bus to PHI. Never flown US since.
6. What part of a flight do you like best? Takeoff
7. Have you flown jump seat? No
8. Have you flown a light aircraft (even a ‘trial’ flight) Cessna 172
9. Have you flown a commercial Airliner? – No
10. Have you flown in a sim? – Yes, DL L-1011 sim. Crashed on landing by touching down on nosegear (glideslope!).
11. What’s the highest you have ever flown – and on what flight? Don't know
12. Have you done the mile high club? – if so what flight# to where? See above: DL749 ATL-LAS
13. What is you most favourite airliner? DL 767-400
14. Your second favourite? A340-600 (not the ugly -300 series!)
15. What airliner do you dislike, and why? (can leave blank if you wish) ATR 42/72. Holy crap! They are awful! What'd you say? Can't hear you!

17. What is your favourite airport? LAX (for the diverse types of airlines flying in there)

26. A v B wars: whose side are you on, and why? Boeing, because i'm tired of all the Airbus people who think they are God's gift to the Earth. When in reality, both manufacturers offer high quality products. I'm happy flying on either. Hell, i'm happy flying!
27. If you could change anything about airlines in general, what would it be? All F/A's should be female and should have beauty pageant standards!
28. If you could change anything about airplanes, what would it be? 2 inches wider seats and 3inches more legroom!!!!!
29. If you could change anything about airports, what would it be? Hire true secuirty professionals to do the passenger/carry-on screening instead of high school dropouts who fall asleep on the job.
30. If you offered a free flying lesson in any commercial airliner of your choice, what airliner would it be? And why? 757 because of that wonderful climb rate.
31. What the most embarrassing thing you have ever done in commercial aviation? Let out some gas ATL-HNL that I thought would be silent, but turned out to be really loud! Rrrrrip! And stunk VERY bad, so everyone knew it was me. I thought it was funny and couldn't stop laughing.

Booked AUS-IAH-MAF-IAH-DTW-MHT, then MHT-EWR-IAH-AUS return.
Then two weeks later, DFW-IAH-AMS-ABZ, and ABZ-AMS-IAH-DFW return.
Who knows what after that.

Simplified pricing. Too damn many fare classes.
Quit using airports with limited runways as hubs (eg EWR!!!)

ERJ135/140/145 - because that's the best chance I'll get if/when I actually go into the aviation field.
