Does AF as a policy upgrade other airline non rev travelers and in particular does it upgrade Delta employees and retires. Anyone had experience with this situation? Any AF agents on this board?

I have flown AF 5 times, with the most recent being in January.
I have never been upgraded.
I am with DL Connection.

You are now free to be sexually harassed and then terminated for filing a complaint--Southwest Airlines to me.

Safe to say no. I've been lucky a couple times like 5 years ago when AF did upgrade DL nonrevs but that ended a while ago. From what I heard, AF stopped doing that because even their own employees don't get upgraded for free.
Now, take it with a grain cuz this is just what I've heard second hand.
European airlines operate a bit differently than in the US.
I've had best luck with SK in Europe as far as being upgraded on ID90s.

Upgrade is authorized at check-in for non-rev only if the Economy Class is full.

In hat case, non-rev are upgraded in priority before paying passengers.

Priority rule for upgrading is :

1) R1 (AF Staff with a reserved ticket)

2) R2 (AF Staff with a Stand-by ticket)

3) RN (No fare ticket, for AF Pilots and F/A. Only on dometic & European network)

4) N2 Air rance Group (Brit'Air / Regional / KLM Saff)

5) N2 other airlines

Introduce yourself to the Chief Purser and/or Captain when boarding. That's normally the rule for us (AF Saff) especially if you are not upgraded at check in.
We upgrade Non Rev staff on board if seats available in J very often (even if we are not supposed to do it ...   )
