I'm going to be traveling to Southern Germany from South Florida at the end of June. And, I find that most online ticket company / websites seem to be about the same... Do any of you a.netters have any suggestions regarding low fare opportunities? Thanks in advance.

I like www.kayak.com - it combines several sites.

If you're a student/under 26, look at http://www.statravel.co.uk , I don't know if it works if you're not in the UK but it's worth a look.

STA Travel has numerous international sites. http://www.statravel.com is their US site, and you can use the menu in the upper right corner of the page to find their sites for other countries.

BTW, anyone can book through them, but you have to be a student or under 25 to get their special discounts.

I find little variation among the aggregator websites these days. The only time significant differences tend to appear is when sites like orbitz piece together segments using a range of (often competing) carriers. That concept rarely holds enough value to take the risk (for me).

And the concept of "cheap" is defined by the individual and the markets.

Lastly, let us not forget that consolidators (often in good old fashioned brick and mortar travel agencies) may have access to lower fares in some markets.
