How To Get Hired As A Flight Attendant For Colgan

First off let me just say I need advice, I do not need to be cut down. I know the industry right now and I know being a Flight Attendant comes with long hours and little pay. I am so use to it right now working as a manager at Cold Stone Creamery. Today I faxed the recruiter of Colgan Air my resume with a cover letter and I also filled out the online application. I was wondering for all of you that have gotten hired as Flight Attendants, how long does it normally take to hear back from them? Also I was wondering if anyone knew when the next training class for Colgan Air is. I heard June so I am hoping that if that is right, but then again that is just a rumor. I thank you guys for your help and insight. Please just stay positive, as I said I know the negatives.

I have not. I applied for EWR/IAD/IAH. I am willing to go to any of the three bases.

Go to the Colgan Air website and on the "Careers" page there is information about the upcoming Flight Attendant open house in Houston. If you go, you need to make sure that you've filled out the application on airlineapps.com and bring all the other documents and copies listed on the page.....here's a link: http://www.colganair.com/site/our_company/careers/open_house_dates.php

Is this open house in IAH only for IAH based Flight Attendants? My preferred base is EWR so I can fly on the Q400.

Yes, it is for IAH based FA's only....if it's any consolation....Colgan does fly the Q400 out of IAH seasonally to MTY...lol
