It's been about 4 years since I last travelled through ATL and I am going through there in October on my way down to DFW. Is there any new places to view aircraft other than the standard windows by the gates? I'm going to have about an hour and a half layover, and wanted to do as much spotting as I could.
"But this airplane has 4 engines, it's an entirely different kind of flying! Altogether"

In the very middle of Concourse T, there is an elevator/escalator area with large windows on 3 sides. This area has good visibility of the space between T and A since it juts out from T. While it does not provide runway views, it is still an interesting area if you are in that part of the airport.
