Which location can claim to have the TALLEST tower in the world? I have not a clue.
Talking ground up, not sea level, who has the biggest?

Now that Orlando tower looks pretty tall.

According to Wiki, BKK has the tallest free standing tower at 132 meters.

The highest belongs to Vancouver Harbour Air Control Tower which serves theVancouver Harbour Water Airport. It sits atop a 142 meter building.

It's 737s, 747s and 380s. Not 737's, 747's and 380's. Learn to use the apostrophe for crying out loud.

You know you're doing something wrong when you have a hazard to air navigation right on your field   . ELP and PDX both feature pretty honkin' tall towers, and I've been in the tower cab at ELP (and you can feel it sway in the wind sometimes!)

I recall that when KUL was built it had the world's tallest ATC Tower (to go with the Petronas Towers), but that when the new BKK airport was built, BKK trumped it's neighbour - a bit of SE Asian rivalry!

Boringly, when LHR built it's new ATC tower, it wasn't interested in breaking any records

it's the bus to stansted (now renamed national express a4 to ruin my username)
