Does anyone know the longest flight on the CRJ 900? I searched in the forums and all I found was for the CRJ 200 flights. I know Pinnacle flies ATL-STX. Does anyone or can anyone fly further? There was talk of Delta putting rafts in some 900s to more overwater flying.

I know at XJ we have flown DTW-SLC and are currently flying JFK-DFW. Both are blocked in excess of four hours!

Yeah and you guys have to lower your prices or else I'm not going to Dallas this summer!
I can't believe JFK-DFW gets this and even DTW-DFW gets mainline... same for ATL, although ATL is a bigger airport. Could a D95 do JFK-DFW? I know a MD-80 can... just look at AA.

Lufthansa Cityline used to fly Yerevan-Munchen with the CRJ900, that was blocked at 4hrs10mins.

Adria flies (or flew) LJU-SSH (Egypt), which is around 4 hours.

I think it's really cool that the CRJ900s are flying such long routes. According to a SAS pilot, the CRJ900 has excellent economics on such long flights. And pax comfort can't be all that bad, otherwise airlines would not use the aircraft on such long routes...?

That was always scheduled with a CRJ-700 IIRC.

It's a nice aircraft - much nicer than the EMB 135/140/145. Certainly on a par with the EMB 170-195 family, although boarding/deboarding can be a pain.

No its not that bad, I flew PIT-SLC once on a CRJ900 and it was VERY comfortable. I actually liked that flight better than our return to PIT from PHX via CVG on a 737-800.

Sound (I may not use the word " noise " here) from the engines is almost inaudible, at least in the front half of the cabin.
If it weren't for pax still trying to bring the kitchen sink, the overall experience would be even better.
