I'm glad to see some of us have shared the same flights! I will beat my own record in a few days, MAD-SCL-EZE, about 18 hrs total trip on LAN. By the way, Bfr, how was the Ghana Airways experience? I've only ised them ACC-LOS, 45 min flight, and no problems, but I've hear a few things about the long haul flights, such as that they don't respect the established schedules and sometimes even leave before expected. Can you comment?
Thanx

Hi,
Mine was 9h 30mins on a Monarch Airlines DC-10-30 G-DMCA from MAN-POP. Funny really because she is now chopped in half and on public display at Manchester Airport:

My longest non stop flight is JFK to SLC. Not a very long flight at all compared to the other responses. I also flew PHX to ATL, but I think JFK to SLC is longer.

1987 or 1988, JFK-SEL-NRT. I believe it was on NWA. it took about 14 hours from JFK-SEL. and another 3 or 4 hours from SEL-NRT (re-fuel & ground time + flight time). luckily i have low blood pressure, so i fall asleep very easily on flights. i have heard that the cabins are pressurized to about 7000 feet.
downside, i don't adjust to high altitude destinations. Flagstaff, Santa Fe, Vail & Haleakala. i did not do well at any of these places, curse you altitude sickness demon!
Tom
