These are my 2 choices available. However, I'll need someone to confirm with me if TG's new Business Class seats are good for an ultra long haul flight. I tried them on a 4 hour flight from BKK-PVG and found that they were not very conducive to sleep in. Also, I'll need suggestions from someone who tried the new SQ seats on B77W on a long haul flight to give comments on the seating comfort. 32 inch seat pitch doesn't look very tolerable for an almost 18 hour flight.

Spot on. The fare was too high. Around $7800 Singapore Dollars to be exact.

Hey I Used the new SQ Eco seats on the SIN-AKL-SIN sector and they are the best what you can get in Eco at the moment so I personally would rather do two economy trips than one business trip. At had to fly FRA-SIN-AKL and even the old SQ economy on the 747 was much better than most of the others flying around.

Their prices are quite high too. Also the biggest problem is they are not in *A. And yes I have problems with the herringbone layout. However, thanks for the help!
I find the TG alternative very attractive.
Even if the TG business class seats are not the top notch in the industry, the comfort improvement comparing to your other alternative which is SQ economy is huge.
Doesn't TG has Premium Economy class in the A345 between BKK and LAX as well?
