I recently splurged and upgraded to businessfirst on Continental from SAN-EWR-POP. SAN-EWR were standard domestic seats (but roomy and comfortable for a redeye). We were treated to a surprise on the EWR-POP leg. The 757 had been outfitted with its new lie flat seats. What a dream! The seats were comfy, reclined into all sorts of positions (it was a morning flight so we didn't lie flat) the entertainment was top notch, the screen huge, and more leg room than you knew what to do with (I managed.) The nice touch was that the seats are angled towards the windows, so when we weren't playing with all the gadgets, we were treated to the view out the window. (I've never understood the airlines that angle the seats away from the windows such that you have to crane your neck to get a view).
Anyway, we were smitten. And what a difference in energy level arriving after such a comfortable flight. The pilot announced the flight would be 3 hours and some minutes. I asked the flight attendant if he could please make it four hours.
I can't wait to try their product on their 787s with those big windows. I think it will be quite impressive.

I did IAH-NRT-IAH in April with both flights being the lie-flats. Wow, they are nice! I had flown our 757 and 777 with the old recliner style seats in BF and what a difference the new one make! I slept at least 7 hours of the 11 1/2 hour return from NRT!

Glad you enjoyed the seats! I've lucked out and had the new seats on my last three 777 flights of EWR-PVG, PEK-EWR, and EWR-DEL. The older BF seats are now quite outdated and definitely pale in comparison to the new ones. I wrote a trip report for my China trip and should probably also write one for my India trip Seats aside, the food in CO's BF is great!
