Hi all,

I'm most likely going back to RAR this spring. I flew NZ in Y last time I went and it wasn't too bad. Is NZ J class worth the extra cost? I can't find much information by the way of trip reports of pics of the seats/cabin. We'll be going LAX-RAR-LAX

Any opinions?

Thanks.

Someone did a report on them to Tahiti on the 767s.

I've flown NZ J class, but on the 747 which has a totally different product so probably not a valid comparison.
I did enjoy the experience however.

Ryan:
There are a couple trip reports on the 763 service - specifically one to PPT that was very thorough - so use the search feature on the Trip Reports forum to find it.
Although the 763 which operates the flight LAX-RAR does not offer the flat bed seat as on the 747 and 777 fleet, there is no question that NZ's service is top notch for service, food and entertainment. This is a classy airline and the added benefits of the J cabin may offset the approximately $800 fare difference from Y. It is a long flight so no question you'd enjoy the comfort and service in Business beginning with priority check-in, and Koru Lounge access.
I am sure you "work hard for the money" but I hope you can treat yourself to NZ's classy service up front.
Thomas
