Flying BE to JFK this weekend and was wondering what level of service it is. Is it just a nicer seat or is it true BizElite level service like on international routes? I would hope its on par with their international BizElite considering how much the tickets are!!

On par with the international service - SkyClub access included! I fly this instead of Virgin America transcons now!

I agree with you on the cost of those tickets!!

Anyway, to your point... I have flown the SFO - JFK route quite a lot. I wouldn't call it on par with international BE service, although it is a very comfortable experience. The meals are quite alright, but the wine selection is limited. You do get a nice pillow, comforter etc., no amenity kits... you have a PTV and so on. I'd rate it lower than international BE purely for the reason that the seats are not lie flat, no champagne  Wink, no wider range of wine selections etc.

Just a few thoughts that come to mind at 11:22 in the night.

Enjoy your flight!

But it's still United so no thanks.
