Is there a way to to know if row 6 (bulkhead seat seperating 1st and coach) has the flat wall or the cut-outs? I've tried Seat Guru, yes. Usually you know the general plane type (i.e. 737-400 or 737-7) but seldom do you have the tail number.
When you get the flat wall there is actually pretty limited legroom for stretching out. It seems hit or miss and I'm trying to figure out if it is limited to a certain type of plane (400 vs 700 vs 800 vs 900). It really is the difference between a comfy flight and not-so-much.

I think it is a curtain. Very much like row 5 on the DL 319/320.

No, I fly on AS a lot. Some planes have a curtain, but most seem to have the wall.
I'm trying to figure out how do you know which plane has what.

737-700s and -800s should have a curtain. 737-400s and -900s should have the wall, although it's been a while since I was on a 900, but I remember there being a closet on one side and either a wall or a lav on the other.

Well, that's the thing. Last month I was coming back on a 737-800 from Chicago and sure it enough it had the full bulkhead. I was in seat 6A.
Hit-n-miss I guess??

I've taken many a ride in -800s and never seen a wall. Do you have the tail number or remember the date and flight number? Checking out the history in Flightaware.com, of the Seattle flights, 21 and 23 have been 737-900s since early June and flight 29 alternated between an 800 and a 900 in July and August. Anchorage flight 131 has been consistantly a 737-800 over the same time frame.

I don't have the tail numbers, but most of the AS 737's I have been on lately have a full wall between first class and coach.
I believe I've only been on 800's and 900's lately.
