Hello, I was wondering if anyone at AA could help me with this. I just got a ZED fare agreement to travel standby on AA flights systemwide and was looking at making a trip to South America in mid to late October. I am looking at traveling to Argentina and Uruguay and wanted to stop in Bolivia if possible. Which is the best bet from MIA as far as making it on? LPB/VVI, MVD, or EZE? I could even go to LIM to get to Bolivia as it looks like there are more flight options there, then return from MVD or EZE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, while I am not an AA employee I have travelled with a ZED on AA. I flew in May of 09 between DFW and EZE, flight was wide open and our seats were released at the counter 4 hours prior to departure. To fly back we made a detour to SCL as the flight looked better from SCL to DFW, again no problems and our seats were released ahead of time. Please keep in mind, Oct is Spring in deep South America so it's not peak travel season. From my experience MIA to South America is a mixed bag, while you have a wide range of flights you also have a high demand especially to EZE and Brasil. I had a great experience flying out of DFW, and the AA staff were wonderful.
