Hi, I'm looking to fly by myself in November or December, just for fun and to experience flying alone. I live in New York and JFK is the closest airport from my home and I wanna fly to any destination less than 2 hours from NYC. So far, I got $39 on B6 for JFK-BOS-JFK, $99 for roundtrip. Do you have any suggestions?? Im only doing this on a Saturday since I have school. BTW, once I arrive at my destination, do I have to exit the terminal or can I just stay put and wait for my next flight? Thanks. I'd like to keep it under $150. Thanks

With some planning and advanced purchase you could do SYR, ROC, BUF, DCA, IAD, CVG, CLE, BOS (as you note), BWI, PHL, PIT, BTV, and a host of other places. Is there an airline/aircraft you really want to fly? How about visiting an airport you've not seen before? If you have all day you can certainly fly further for the same money.
As for exit and re-entry, it will depend on if you have your boarding pass for the return segment. If yes, no need to exit unless you choose. It's basically like a connecting flight - just back to your point of origin.

Thanks! I really wanna fly on B6's E190s since I've never been on one before, I've checked on B6's website and it seems that all of their flight to BOS are operated by the A320, do you know any destinations that is operated by the E190?? And yes, I'm planning to print all of my boarding passes at home.

At least some of the flights to BOS are on the E190. I flew one on a Friday evening recently, last flight JFK to BOS. That might not fit your schedule, though.

I've recently found these fares:
LGA-ATL-IND-ATL-LGA on AirTran for $179 on the B737 and B717
LGA-DET-LGA on Spirit for $159 on the A319/A320
I think I'm going to go with B6 on JFK-BOS-JFK for $99.40, maybe this November/Thanksgiving Recess

How are the transfer services in BOS? Im thinking on going with B6 on the outbound and DL on the inbound. I really wanna try the Embraer 170/190, however, B6 E190 flight to Boston leave until 12PM so that means I'll be back in NYC really late..

Check to see if B6 is still running the E-190 on JFK-IAD. I've used them on that route (my first E-190 flight).
US also uses the E-190 out of LGA on BOS route.
If you do a multi-stop you could pick up BOS-PHL on a US E190 also.

B6 also runs the E190 up north from JFK to (all flights are scheduled E190 only unless otherwise stated):
ROC
BUF (MIXED A320/E190 OPERATIONS)
PWM (MIXED A320/E190 OPERATIONS)
...or going west a little:
ORD
PIT
...or going south a little:
IAD (MIXED A320/E190 OPERATIONS)
RDU
CLT
JAX (MIXED A320/E190 OPERATIONS)
Or you can take transfers from BOS to get the E190 to a BUNCH of places (too lazy to pull it up right now, sorry, got lots of work to do anyway).
