Hi, it's my first time transitting through DEN, and I was just wondering if one and a half hours is enough for a transit through Denver? I'll be flying YYZ-DEN-LAX. The inbound flight is to land in DEN at 4:05pm, and the outbound flight to LAX is to leave at 5:30pm. Will I have to go through customs and pick up my bags because it's an international flight? Thanks.

You will be pre-cleared through immigration and customs in YYZ so your connection in effect will be a domestic connection. You will have more than enough time to make the connection, assuming your inbound flight is on time.

I'm assuming that you're flying all legs on United, in which case 90 minutes is more than enough.

This will be my first post on Airliners!  . If you are flying on Air Canada you will go into most likely the A concourse. Normally they use A39 as the arrival gate. If it's United most likely it's Express and you will be between B52-B60. Your bags will most likely go through CTX. (If you have checked luggage). Should be enough time for your bags to make your connection.

If I remember correctly the AC YYZ flight gets in pretty early in the day, not late afternoon which leads me to believe it's a Shuttle America flight.

I think AC has 2 daily flights now. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Unless the afternoon flying comes from Montreal.

Regardless of who actually is operating the flight due to arrive at 4.05pm and which gate it will use, there is nothing to be concerned of about a 85-minute connection domestic-to-domestic at DEN.
There even will be ample time to have (some kind of) dinner.

Yes. Given your flight timings you should be on our afternoon S5 flight. Like others have said, you pre-clear customs in YYZ so make sure you get to the airport with plenty of time to do that.

When you arrive in DEN you walk off the jetbridge into the concourse as if it were any other domestic flight.
