I will be flying from ATL-BWI on 27 Oct and looking at seatguru.com there are ten thousand different configurations of the 757 for DL. Is there any way to narrow it down as to a specific one that I will be riding on? Some of them have IFE, some don't, so I would like to plan accordingly. Thanks.

Not sure which flight you are on, but at present on 27 Oct from ATL to BWI I can see four 757 flights. Two are operated by 757 type aircraft (premerger DL 24/159 with overhead TVs) and two are operated by 75N type aicraft (premerger NW 5500series 22/160, no IFE). The 9:33am and the 9:30pm flights are using the 757 equipment and the 1:40pm and the 4:10pm are using the 75N equipment. Of course, equipment substitutions are possible.

Sorry I should have put the time. I will be flying on the 1:40 757. Where are you finding these specifics? Delta.com simply list a/c type as a general 757.

I can tell just from looking at the seat maps on Delta.com.

There are 8 different seat configurations for Delta 757s.

75A - 16/150 - Overhead TVs
75J - 20/162 - No IFE
75N - 22/160 - No IFE (former NW 5500 series, 4 doors)
75N - 22/162 - No IFE (former NW 5600 series, 3 doors and two overwing exits)

75E - 16/158 - In seat AVOD
75V - 22/156 - Overhead TVs
757 - 24/159 - Overhead TVs
75U - 24/159 - Overhead TVs (Same a 757 but with winglets)
75X - 26/158 - In seat AVOD
