I have booked some flights to Madrid and in addition to the fare there are the usual collection of fees and taxes listed on the e-Ticket.
Some I can understand, but there is one that I am unfamiliar with.
AUD is the currency;
AU is the passenger movement charge for Australia (International);
WG is Australian Safety and Security charge;
WY is the Australian Passenger Services Charge; and
QV is a Spanish Security Charge.
But what is JD? I don't see it listed in the old IATA list that I have and don't really want to fork out $1,500 to get a new list.

I believe it is the Spanish Airport Services Charge.
I just did a dummy search on ITA and got the following result
Quote:
Fare (A1): EK SYDMAD WLLGPAU1 fare (rules) , psgr type ADT AUD 825.00
Fare (A2): EK MADSYD WLLGPAU1 fare (rules) , psgr type ADT AUD 825.00
Tax: Australian Passenger Movement Charge AUD 47.00
Tax: Australian Int'l Passenger Service Charge AUD 51.16 Tax: Spanish Airport Services Charge €7.93
Tax: Spanish Security Tax €1.85
Total for 1 adult passenger: AUD 1762.06

A quick currency calculation reveals EUR7.93 is equal to AUD11.17 which rounds up to the AUD11.20 figure on your tax.
