Not sure if this has been discussed before (apologies if it has), but something I read on here recently made me think of an old airline advertising slogan. It made me wonder how many of us can dredge our minds and come up with airline advertising slogans/jingles of the past.

The ones I remember most are:

British Caledonian: "We've found a better way to fly, we've found a better way to touch the sky....British Caledonian, a better way to fly".

Pan Am: "Pan Am...we fly the world the way the world wants to fly...Pan Am"

British Airways: "We'll take more care of you...fly the flag...fly the flag"

Northwest Orient: "Northwest Orient......aiiiirlliines"

I've also got vague memories of a Laker Skytrain one, but it won't quite come to me. Anyone remember any others?

Sorry, DeltaRules! However, I'll only feel guilty though if one of them was the one for Piedmont...  Big grin

This one is before my time, but I remember seeing the commercial for Braniff where the flight attendant is stripping down to a new unifrom... I know there is a slogan, but I can't recall it. Anyone out there remember that one?

Anyone remember the Air Canada TV ad where the plane lands (think it was a Tristar) and everyone is having such a good time on board that they don't get off, but carry on having a party? I seem to remember that they even open the door briefly to put out some empty milkbottles (or maybe champagne bottles) at the top of the aircraft steps.

The ad ended with the slogan "Thanks Air Canada".

If you can't fly Continental, try to have a nice trip anyway.
