Hello,
I am arriving in CDG 2E next week and plan to meet a friend on a layover at the same time. She is going to transit from 2C to 2E and then take my same aircraft back to the U.S. I was hoping to take her to the Air France Salon lounge in 2E, but will I be able to remain in the secure area, or must I pass through customs immediately upon arrival? Thanks in advance for your help.

IIRC if you are arriving from the US into 2E once you disembark you will be directed towards either immigration and the exit OR to the security checkpoint so you can be re-scanned before getting a connection. I don't think you can go directly from gate to gate without passing through security. At least that is what I recall from my last trip through 2E.
