BA Sudden Seat Change?

Posted (4 years 5 days 20 hours ago) and read 2873 times:

I checked in online for my flight tomorrow morning, and I chose 9A and printed my boarding pass. I just looked at the online check in again, and now it says 6A. I thought, huh? Aircraft change? Does another a-netter know why this happened?

T5 is complete chaos at the moment... loads of diversions/cancellations
Its prob an aircraft change.. lots of planes stranded where they shouldnt be

It wasn't an aircraft change, as there was a 767 (as on the flight plan, G-BNWA) at DUS, but we couldn't get in as our flight got cancelled...
