Hello All,
I will be flying ORD-DFW-RSW and back in February on American and the ORD-DFW flight lists beverage service. Will only drinks be served or will there be some sort of snack? Also, the RSW-DFW leg lists a snack. What will this likely be? The flight is scheduled at 3 hours.

A snack can be a burger, sandwich/chips, and/or a salad. There are alway two choices available. Cocktails, along with warm mixed nuts, will also be served pre-snack.

No, the timing was off and I could not make a connection to RSW. But, it should still be a good trip ... A nice escape from the cold!

Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 1): "Snack" service is a meal service, its just all presented at once and without an appetizer and a more simple desert.
Wow, American's first class service is impressive. Do most US Airlines serve meals for snacks in first?

Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 1): Beverage service on a 1-2 hour flight is typically beverages, warm nuts and often a warm cookie.

A typical snack is a steak quesadilla with a side salad and chips or a BBQ chicken salad. There will often be a baked-on board cookie for desert.
Hit it with the nail on the head!
Although on some beverage flights sometimes it is only beverages that are given out however the FAs will typically offer the BOB in coach to those in F complimentary of course.
