Hey guys,

I'm turning 16 this year and soon I'm off to college. As an aviation geek, it's my dream to be a pilot. But then, later, I decided to become a flight attendant. You have to have years of training and it will cost a fortune to be a pilot, so I just dropped that idea off. My ultimate dream in life is to travel the world and I asked myself, why not become an FA? You travel the world for free while getting paid! I know, there's harsh realities to deal with but an EK FA who's also an a.netter told me that working for EK is a pleasure and there's negatives working for EK but the benefits outweighs the negatives, so it sounds pretty good to me!

I specifically want to work with EK, they seem to be a great airline and they offer excellent benefits. What other airlines have the same benefits or close to EK?

I'm not planning to be an FA for the rest of my life, I want an adventure in life, I don't want a regular office job, I want the world to be my office. I know you have to deal with rude passengers and etc, but every job has its negatives.

I know this is a stupid question but does EK hire specific race more than others? I know their pretty diverse but does knowing Arabic give you an edge? You can say that I'm very patient and friendly, I haven't reached my full height yet but my family is pretty much taller than regular people. I'm sorta mixed, I don't look Filipino at all, more like Persian-like but lighter. Lol, i don't even know why I'm mentioning this..  And I'm fluent in English, Filipino, Visayan (second language in the Philippines) and some Spanish, would it help me? What jobs should I take in high school that will give me an edge on becoming an FA?

I'm okay if I live in Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo or any place in the world...

What college course should I take? My parents already started a college fund for me, so that's good. They suggested that I should go to college in the Philippines but I want to stay here in NY in college.

Comments, Suggestions and Advices are appreciated!
