One of my colleagues was coming home from a holidy on Gran Canaria last night, when there was a medical emergency on board. This occurred over Portugal, and the aircraft made an emergency landing while the patient was taken off (turned out, they were already deceased Thoughts and prayers go to the family).
My question is, does anyone know which airport in Portugal this was? My colleague only knew it was Portuguese when turning on his mobile phone, the network read PT.
Flight FR8133 LPA - STN, on Mon 14th March.

Thanks - my colleague said it was "a little airport in the middle of nowhere"! I guess he couldn't see much outside, if the aircraft taxied to a remote location away from the terminal to help the medical teams.

Looking on google earth, it's surrounded by residential and agricultural areas so, apart from the terminal, I'd imagine there's not a whole lot to see, especially in the dark. And if they landed from the north, which I'd imagine they would have done to avoid backtracking, there wouldn't have been a whole lot to see.
